5 February 2021: SHARED researchers publish study on social health and its association with structural brain changes

A group of researchers from the SHARED project published a study on social health markers an its association with structural brain changes. The findings support that social health is associated with brain structure and could in this way affect cognitive function. More (link opens in new tab)


30 July 2020: An update to the 2017 Lancet Commission on dementia, prevention, intervention and care published

An update to the 2017 report on dementia, prevention, intervention and care expands the number of modifiable risk factors from 9 to 12. The commission calls for nations and individuals to be ambitious about preventing dementia, and lays out a set of policies and lifestyle changes to help. More (link opens in new tab)
